Euro Extends Gain Against Pound

(RTTNews) - Against its British counterpart, the European single currency advanced further in early Asian trading on Friday.
The euro appreciated by a 0.11 percent to 0.8049 versus the sterling at around 7:00 pm ET, the highest value since July 5, 2012. The pair that closed yesterday's North American session at 0.8042, is now worth 0.8046.
