Indian Rupee Breaches 55.5 Level Against U.S. Dollar

(RTTNews) - The Indian rupee opened lower against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday following weak global cues as investors await German court ruling about Europe's permanent bailout fund and Federal Reserve's upcoming monetary policy meeting.
The rupee broke key 55.5 level against the greenback with 56.00 seen as the next support level. The greenback-rupee pair was worth 55.445 at yesterday's close.
