Austria's Trade Deficit Widens In June

(RTTNews) - Austria's trade deficit increased to EUR 641.79 million in June from EUR 596.3 million last year, Statistics Austria reported Friday.
Exports increased 2.9 percent year-on-year, while imports climbed at a pace of 3.2 percent.
During January to June, imports were 1.1 percent higher than the previous year and exports grew 1.6 percent. The trade gap narrowed to EUR 3.72 billion from EUR 4 billion a year ago.
