Franc Steady Amid Switzerland's August Unemployment Report

(RTTNews) - Switzerland's unemployment report for August has been released at 1:45 am ET. The seasonally adjusted jobless rate rose to 2.9 percent in the month, unchanged from July.
The Swiss franc held steady against its major opponents after the report. As of 1:46 am ET, the franc was trading at 0.9542 against the US dollar, 1.5208 against the pound, 1.2060 against the euro and 82.77 against the yen.
