Yen Drops Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The Japanese yen declined against other major currencies in early Asian deals on Tuesday.

The yen slipped to a 5-day low of 124.70 against the pound, 4-day lows of 78.44 against the greenback, 98.94 against the euro and 82.41 against the franc, compared to yesterday's close of 124.35, 78.26, 98.55 and 82.08, respectively.

The yen that retreated from an early high of 80.11 against the aussie and a new multi-week high of 62.35 against the kiwi is now trading at 80.33 and 62.57, respectively.

Against the loonie, the yen is worth 79.57 with 80.00 seen as the next downside target level.
