Australian Dollar Slides To 5-day Low Versus Loonie

(RTTNews) - Against its Canadian counterpart, the Australian currency traded lower during New York afternoon deals on Wednesday as the U.S. Federal Reserve maintained its key interest rate unchanged at 0.0 percent- 0.25 percent.
The Aussie fell to a 5-day low of 1.0505 versus the loonie as of 2:20 pm ET, which may be compared to Tuesday's closing value of 1.0542. At present, the pair is worth 1.0509.
