Dollar Ticks Up Against European Majors

(RTTNews) - The US dollar that moved broadly sideways against the major currencies of Europe since Thursday noon staged a brief rebound at the beginning of Friday's Asian session.
The greenback inched higher to 1.2274 against the euro and 0.9788 against the Swiss franc, almost 10-pips higher than its overnight closing values. The US currency also ticked higher to 1.5676 against the British sterling, up from 1.5688 hit late New York Thursday.
