Bulgaria: Clinton talks to focus on energy81 days ago
(AP:SOFIA, Bulgaria) Bulgaria's foreign minister says she will seek greater involvement of U.S. companies in energy projects when she meets Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington on Monday.
Rumyana Zheleva told the AP that American companies will be invited to consider investments in oil pipelines, a second planned nuclear plant and other energy facilities.
Bulgaria joined NATO in 2004 and the European Union in 2007, but is still heavily dependent on Russian energy supplies.
