Kohl's Corp. rose $.62 or 1.3 percent, to $46.81.

Macy's Inc. rose $.43 or 1.0 percent, to $41.66.

Nordstrom rose $.57 or 1.1 percent, to $54.56.

J.C. Penney Co. rose $.22 or 1.5 percent, to $15.04.

Saks rose $.14 or 1.2 percent, to $11.32.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $1.11 or 2.3 percent, to $50.00.

TJX Companies rose $.12 or .3 percent, to $44.74.
