Citigroup Inc. rose $.51 or 1.4 percent, to $37.88.

Goldman Sachs rose $1.74 or 1.4 percent, to $124.13.

JPMorgan Chase rose $1.07 or 2.6 percent, to $42.75.

Morgan Stanley rose $.12 or .7 percent, to $17.50.

US Bank rose $.33 or 1.0 percent, to $33.54.

Wells Fargo rose $.24 or .7 percent, to $33.93.
