(AP:NEW YORK) Shares of some top railroad companies were mixed at the close of trading:

CSX rose $.17 or .8 percent, to $21.36.

Canadian National Railway Co. fell $.95 or 1.1 percent, to $88.82.

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. fell $.21 or .2 percent, to $90.57.

Kansas City Southern fell $.29 or .4 percent, to $77.38.

Norfolk Southern Corp. fell $.51 or .8 percent, to $66.70.

Union Pacific rose $1.61 or 1.3 percent, to $125.34.
