Caterpillar rose $.51 or .6 percent, to $86.62.
Deere & Co. rose $1.05 or 1.2 percent, to $86.86.
Manitowoc fell $.07 or .5 percent, to $14.37.
Terex fell $.16 or .7 percent, to $24.28.
