(AP:NEW YORK) Shares of some top homebuilders companies were up at the close of trading:

DR Horton rose $.01 or percent, to $21.55.

Hovnanian Enterprises Inc. rose $.18 or 4.4 percent, to $4.31.

Lennar Corp. rose $.55 or 1.4 percent, to $38.68.

Pulte Homes Inc. rose $.21 or 1.2 percent, to $17.65.
