American Electric Power Co. fell $.30 or .7 percent, to $43.66.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. fell $1.18 or 1.9 percent, to $59.81.

Dominion Resources Inc. fell $.77 or 1.4 percent, to $52.82.

Duke Energy Corp. fell $.47 or .7 percent, to $64.19.

Exelon rose $.37 or 1.0 percent, to $35.94.

PG&E fell $.08 or .2 percent, to $43.25.

Southern Co. fell $.87 or 1.9 percent, to $45.05.
