Amgen Inc. fell $1.97 or 2.4 percent, to $81.36.
Biogen Idec rose $1.74 or 1.1 percent, to $154.24.
Celgene Corp. rose $1.18 or 1.6 percent, to $76.27.
Gilead Sciences Inc. rose $1.78 or 2.9 percent, to $62.02.
