Bank of America Corp. rose $.43 or 4.8 percent, to $9.40.

Citigroup Inc. rose $1.40 or 4.2 percent, to $34.45.

Goldman Sachs rose $2.43 or 2.1 percent, to $120.67.

JPMorgan Chase rose $1.48 or 3.7 percent, to $41.40.

Morgan Stanley rose $.48 or 2.8 percent, to $17.90.

US Bank rose $.93 or 2.7 percent, to $34.87.

Wells Fargo rose $1.22 or 3.6 percent, to $35.55.
