Walt Disney Co. rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $52.77.

Gannett fell $.17 or .9 percent, to $18.58.

New York Times Co. fell $.06 or .6 percent, to $9.52.

News Corp. fell $.02 or .1 percent, to $25.06.

Time Warner Inc. fell $.06 or .1 percent, to $45.85.

Viacom Inc. rose $.08 or .1 percent, to $54.75.
