ACE L fell $.14 or .2 percent, to $75.79.

Aflac Inc. fell $.08 or .2 percent, to $48.10.

American International Group rose $.12 or .3 percent, to $33.74.

MBIA rose $.13 or 1.2 percent, to $11.29.

MGIC Investments Corp. fell $.07 or 4.0 percent, to $1.67.

MetLife rose $.20 or .6 percent, to $35.07.

XL Group PLC fell $.07 or .3 percent, to $24.13.
