Grains futures mostly fall, pork prices rise

(AP:CHICAGO) Grain prices mostly fell Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery fell 5 cents to $8.7650 a bushel; December corn fell 7.25 cents to $7.4925 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.7575 a bushel; while November soybeans dropped 16 cents to $16.5350 a bushel.
Beef futures fell, while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle slipped 0.10 cent to $1.2625 a pound; October feeder cattle fell 0.20 cent to $1.4680 a pound; while October lean hogs rose 0.07 cent to 74.82 cents a pound.
