Baxter International Inc. rose $.14 or .2 percent, to $59.18.

Boston Scientific Corp. rose $.08 or 1.4 percent, to $5.63.

Johnson & Johnson rose $.04 or .1 percent, to $67.88.

Medtronic rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $41.61.

St. Jude Medical Inc. rose $.39 or 1.0 percent, to $39.50.

Stryker fell $.04 or .1 percent, to $54.15.

Zimmer Holdings Inc. rose $1.17 or 1.8 percent, to $65.22.
