(AP:NEW YORK) Shares of some top department store retail companies are mixed at 1 p.m.:

Kohl's Corp. rose $.79 or 1.5 percent, to $53.09.

Macy's Inc. fell $.14 or .3 percent, to $40.33.

Nordstrom rose $.29 or .5 percent, to $58.05.

J.C. Penney Co. fell $.32 or 1.2 percent, to $25.91.

Saks fell $.01 or .1 percent, to $11.77.

Sears Holdings Corp. fell $4.57 or 8.0 percent, to $52.88.

TJX Companies fell $.89 or 1.9 percent, to $45.75.
