ACE L rose $.25 or .3 percent, to $73.46.

Aflac Inc. rose $.22 or .5 percent, to $46.12.

American International Group rose $.19 or .5 percent, to $34.80.

MBIA rose $.19 or 1.8 percent, to $10.93.

MGIC Investments Corp. rose $.04 or 3.4 percent, to $1.23.

MetLife rose $.21 or .6 percent, to $34.79.

XL Group PLC fell $.01 or percent, to $23.45.
