(AP:NEW YORK) Shares of some top silver companies are mixed at 10 a.m.:

Hecla Mining Co. rose $.02 or .4 percent, to $4.73.

Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.07 or .4 percent, to $15.86.

Silver Standard Resources Inc. fell $.03 or .2 percent, to $12.98.

Silver Wheaton rose $.41 or 1.3 percent, to $31.05.
