American Electric Power Co. rose $.18 or .4 percent, to $43.55.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. rose $.28 or .4 percent, to $63.87.

Dominion Resources Inc. rose $.09 or .2 percent, to $53.72.

Duke Energy Corp. fell $.24 or .4 percent, to $67.85.

Exelon rose $.34 or .9 percent, to $38.92.

PG&E fell $.15 or .3 percent, to $45.24.

Southern Co. rose $.11 or .2 percent, to $46.92.
