(AP:NEW YORK) Shares of some top railroad companies were mixed at the close of trading:

CSX fell $.20 or .9 percent, to $22.91.

Canadian National Railway Co. fell $.40 or .5 percent, to $88.42.

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. rose $.75 or .9 percent, to $82.99.

Kansas City Southern fell $.74 or 1.0 percent, to $73.39.

Norfolk Southern Corp. fell $.22 or .3 percent, to $74.72.

Union Pacific fell $1.15 or .9 percent, to $123.39.
