Caterpillar rose $1.33 or 1.6 percent, to $86.35.
Deere & Co. rose $.92 or 1.2 percent, to $78.43.
Manitowoc rose $.27 or 2.2 percent, to $12.46.
Terex rose $.72 or 3.8 percent, to $19.91.
