American International Group rose 2.4 percent to $32.09 with 55,204,500 shares traded.

Bank of America Corp. rose 2.8 percent to $7.64 with 110,383,400 shares traded.

Best Buy Co. rose 13.3 percent to $19.99 with 44,129,500 shares traded.

Boston Scientific Corp. fell .9 percent to $5.26 with 26,467,500 shares traded.

Chesapeake Energy Corp. fell 1.1 percent to $17.70 with 24,954,500 shares traded.

Citigroup Inc. rose 4.2 percent to $28.56 with 39,773,500 shares traded.

General Electric Co. was unchanged at $20.97 with 33,726,700 shares traded.

Knight Capital Group fell 24.2 percent to $3.07 with 85,329,600 shares traded.

Pfizer Inc. fell .1 percent to $24.26 with 25,305,000 shares traded.

Sprint Nextel Corp. rose 1.6 percent to $4.34 with 31,817,100 shares traded.
