Facebook Inc. rose 1.8 percent to $21.47 with 18,489,500 shares traded.

Intel Corp. rose 1.2 percent to $26.54 with 12,753,300 shares traded.

Micron Technology Inc. rose 3.0 percent to $6.52 with 10,283,400 shares traded.

Microsoft Corp. rose 1.1 percent to $30.08 with 13,942,200 shares traded.

News Corp A rose 1.2 percent to $23.76 with 12,002,700 shares traded.

ON Semiconductor Corp. fell 1.7 percent to $6.26 with 11,138,900 shares traded.

Oracle Corp. rose 1.2 percent to $31.07 with 10,567,100 shares traded.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. rose 2.5 percent to $2.22 with 33,843,100 shares traded.
