American Electric Power Co. rose $.11 or .3 percent, to $42.53.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. fell $.03 or percent, to $64.88.

Dominion Resources Inc. unchanged at $54.97.

Duke Energy Corp. rose $.40 or .6 percent, to $67.85.

Exelon fell $.02 or .1 percent, to $39.35.

PG&E rose $.24 or .5 percent, to $46.35.

Southern Co. fell $.13 or .3 percent, to $48.29.
