ACE L fell $.28 or .4 percent, to $73.28.

Aflac Inc. rose $.18 or .4 percent, to $43.67.

American International Group rose $.01 or percent, to $31.58.

MBIA rose $.33 or 3.4 percent, to $9.96.

MGIC Investments Corp. rose $.07 or 3.2 percent, to $2.38.

MetLife rose $.08 or .3 percent, to $30.52.

XL Group PLC rose $.10 or .5 percent, to $20.98.
