General Mills Inc. rose $.22 or .6 percent, to $38.74.

Hormel Foods Corp. fell $.18 or .6 percent, to $28.22.

Kellogg fell $.02 or percent, to $47.17.

Kraft Foods Inc. rose $.10 or .2 percent, to $39.51.

Smithfield Foods Inc. rose $.02 or .1 percent, to $18.38.

J.M. Smucker Co. rose $.49 or .6 percent, to $76.85.

Tyson Foods Inc. fell $.13 or .9 percent, to $14.94.
