Oil prices briefly hit $90 on stronger US demand

The price of oil briefly hit $90 per barrel on Wednesday for the first time since May after the government said U.S. oil demand is on the rise.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange:
Crude rose by 65 cents to end the day at $89.87 per barrel.
Gasoline increased by 3.84 cents to finish at $2.8834 per gallon.
Heating oil rose by 3.54 cents to end at $2.8776 per gallon.
Natural gas rose by 17.7 cents to end at $2.9730 per 1,000 cubic feet.
On the ICE Futures exchange in London:
Brent crude rose by $1.16 to end at $105.16 per barrel.
