Kellogg fell $.10 or .2 percent, to $48.28.

Kraft Foods Inc. rose $.10 or .3 percent, to $39.90.

Smithfield Foods Inc. rose $.48 or 2.7 percent, to $18.33.

J.M. Smucker Co. rose $.12 or .2 percent, to $76.10.

Tyson Foods Inc. rose $.07 or .5 percent, to $15.52.
