LIMA (Dow Jones)--A resolution of contract talks at Antamina SRL, one of Peru's largest base metal mining companies, could take place this week.
Hundreds of illegal artisanal miners operating in mining areas in the Democratic Republic of Congo licensed to the Toronto-listed Katanga Mining Ltd. (KAT.T) rioted Tuesday after the police tried to evict them, Radio Okapi reported Wednesday.
