SANTIAGO (Dow Jones)--Unionized workers at Chilean copper mine Lomas Bayas ended a nine-day strike and will return to their posts on Friday morning, a union leader said Thursday.

LIMA (Dow Jones)--Peru's largest mining union has called a nationwide strike for June 15 to demand more benefits and job security.
