North Korean Leader Pledges "substantial Measures" Against U.N. Sanctions

(RTTNews) - Sunday, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un warned of taking substantial measures to retaliate against UN sanctions, backing his plans to go forward with third nuclear test.

Kim's statement was made during a meeting with top security officials. Eventhough, North Korea did not specifically mention what sort of measures it would take, the meeting asserts country's defiant stance against U.N. sanctions.

The security council last week tightened sanctions against North Korea and ordered "significant actions" if it proceeds with third nuclear test. However, North Korea sticked to its demand for nuclear test claiming it as sovereign right.
