Taiwan Dollar Pares Recent Gains Against Greenback 81 days ago
(RTTNews) - The Taiwan dollar that spiked up against the US currency in early Friday Asian deals lost ground after reaching a high of 32.2720 at 8:05 pm ET. As of now, the pair is worth 32.3560, compared to 32.3870 hit late New York Thursday. If the Taiwan dollar slips further, it may target the 32.415 level.
Today, Taiwan will announce current account data for the third quarter of 2009. Analysts are expecting a surplus of $8.54 billion after the $9.92 billion surplus in the previous three months.
