Ireland Industrial Output Rises In September 10 days ago
(RTTNews) - Tuesday, the Central Statistics Office of Ireland announced that industrial output increased a seasonally adjusted 11.2% month-on-month in September, compared to the 16.1% fall in the previous month. A year earlier, industrial production was down 2.8%.
Year-on-year, industrial production decreased 0.7% in September, after falling 13% in August.
Similarly, manufacturing production increased 12.9% on a monthly basis in September, accelerating from 17.5% fall in August. Manufacturing output rose 0.5% annually in September, compared to the 13.2% decline in the preceding month.
Meanwhile, industrial turnover dropped 11.1% year-on-year in September, and it was up 12.3% compared to the previous month.
In the July to September period, manufacturing production rose 4% compared to the preceding quarter, while industrial turnover fell 11.4%.
