Japan Leading Index On Tap For Friday

(RTTNews) - Japan is on Friday scheduled to release final August figures for its leading and coincident indexes, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. Little change is expected from the preliminary readings that suggested a score of 93.6 for both indexes.
Japan also will see the August results of its all industry activity index, with forecasts suggesting an increase of 0.1 percent on month following the 0.6 percent contraction in July.
New Zealand will provide September figures for credit card spending; in August, it was up 0.1 percent on month and 1.9 percent on year.
