NZ Dollar Falls Sharply Amid Q3 CPI

(RTTNews) - The New Zealand dollar edged down sharply against major currencies after the releasing of consumer price index or CPI report for the third quarter in early Asian trading on Tuesday. The Statistics New Zealand said today that the consumers price index (CPI) rose 0.3 percent in Q3.
On yearly basis, CPI increased 0.8 percent.
As of now, the kiwi is trading near 0.815 against the US dollar, 1.2577 versus the Aussie, 64.17 against the yen and 1.5886 versus the euro.
