UK House Price Index Improves In September - RICS

(RTTNews) - House prices in the United Kingdom rose in September, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors reported Tuesday.

RICS said hits house price balance improved to a seasonally adjusted balance of minus 15 compared to minus 18 in August.

The index reflects the number of surveyors reporting price decreases versus the number reporting increases.

RICS said the survey showed increases in both instructions to sell properties and inquiries for purchase.
