(RTTNews) - Japan is scheduled to release August figures for current account and September data for bankruptcies and the eco watchers survey, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
The current account is expected to fall 3.7 percent on year to a surplus of 421.1 billion yen after plummeting an annual 40.6 percent to a surplus of 625.4 billion yen in July. The trade balance is expected to reflect a deficit of 628.6 billion yen after posting a 373.6 billion yen shortfall in the previous month. Bankruptcies were down 5.8 percent on year in August, while the current and outlook eco surveys both saw a score of 43.6.
