Bulgaria Industrial Production Rises In August

(RTTNews) - Bulgaria's industrial production increased from last year in August after falling in the previous month, data released by the National Statistical Institute showed Monday.
Industrial production increased a working-day adjusted 2 percent in August, reversing the previous month's 0.5 percent decrease.
Mining and quarrying production advanced 4.5 percent annually, while manufacturing output gained 2.5 percent. Supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning was higher by 1.3 percent compared to last year.
On a monthly basis, industrial increased a seasonally adjusted 1 percent in August, after remaining unchanged in July, data showed.
