Australia Trade Balance On Tap For Wednesday

(RTTNews) - Australia will on Wednesday provide August figures for imports, exports and trade balance, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. The trade balance is expected to show a deficit of A$685 million after posting a A$556 million shortfall in July.

Australia also will see the September results of the AiG Performance of Service Index; in August, it came in at 42.4.

Finally, the stock markets in China and South Korea are closed on Wednesday for National Day and National Foundation Day, respectively. South Korea will re-open on Thursday, while China is closed for the week.
